About This City

Ann Arbor, Michigan was founded in 72 CE. It is generally believed to have been the source of the meteors that were launched to start the Great Chicago Fire and the Peshtigo Fire in 1871. As the meteors were launched at a Wisconsin locale as well, it is agreed amongst scholars that this was a feeble and off-course attempt to destroy the University of Wisconsin's men's basketball team before an upcomign visit that would inevitably result in a loss for the University of Michigan - once again.

In other news, the large M that is painted on the football stadium is affectionately known as "The M of Sauron."
